Annual Grower Meetings

As required by the Regional Water Quality Control Board’s regulations under the Waste Discharge Requirements for Agriculture, members of the San Joaquin County and Delta Water Quality Coalition, or their representative, must attend at least one Coalition approved grower meeting per year.  The Coalition will be holding a series of grower meetings during the months of January and February of 2018 to help growers meet the requirement of attending at least one Coalition meeting per year. (12 month period between July 1 and June 30).  These meetings should be attend by those who are operating and making the management decisions for the farming operation. The dates and locations are listed below. 

One way to meet this meeting requirement include watching the online video below.  This video is the same presentation that is given at the in person meetings that the Coalition will hold in January and February and by watching it, you meet the annual meeting requirement.  To verify that you watched the video, there are a couple of questions embeded in the video that you must answer to verify you watched the video.  Once you have watched the video please complete the VIDEO VERIFICATION FORM which will provide the Coalition the need information to confirm you annual meeting attendance.

2018/19 Annual Grower Meeting

Here is the presentation given at the annual meeting for those who requested it.

Grower meetings for the 2018/19 year have all been completed.  If you were not able to attend a meeting last year please watch the annual meeting video and fill out the verification form follow.  This video is for the 2018/19 year and will NOT count as attending a annual meeting in 2019/20.

Other meetings that qualify for your annual Coalition meeting attendance due to presentations at the meeting by San Joaquin County & Delta Water Quality Coalition Meetings.

San Joaquin County Agricultural Commission and Contra Costa County Agricultural Commissioner Meetings.

The grower pesticide use certification meetings conducted by the San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner and Contra Costa County Agricultural Commissioner each year, that the San Joaquin County and Delta Water Quality Coalition does a presentation at, qualifies for the annual meeting attendance for the Coaliton.  If you attend one of these meetings and did not check in with the Coalition please contact our office at info@sjdeltwatershed.org.
